Photo Museum Ireland is a charitable organisation. We employ 7 staff in a variety of roles including curatorial, programming, visitor experience, technical, finance, operations and marketing. Photo Museum Ireland is an equal opportunities employer.

CE SCHEME
This is a developmental opportunity. No experience is necessary. Training will be provided to support your career. This role will particularly suit candidates with an interest or experience in retail and hospitality or administration in a museum or arts environment. This role is based in Photo Museum Ireland in Meeting House Square, Temple Bar, Dublin 2.

Successful applicants will join us as a shop assistant in the museum bookshop, working at the front desk, greeting visitors, carrying out visitor surveys, working the till and credit card machine and providing visitors with information about the museum and the city. You will also work as a tour guide in the museum, giving half-hour tours to groups of guests as required. These tours require you to memorise and present a script. On the job training will be provided. You will be required to work on Saturdays from 10.30am to 5.30pm. Necessary skills include ability to interact with the public in an engaging manner, proficiency with MAC computers, familiarity with the Gmail suite of applications. Please note: Applicants must be unemployed at least one year to be eligible for this role.
