The seventeen artists invited to participate in Open Now are: Alex Wong (Turkey), Andy Rochelli (Italy), Anne Ackermann (Germany), Davide Maione (UK), Emer Gillespie (UK), Gianluca Gamberini (France), Gwynne Johnson (USA), Ian Bamford (Ireland), Jessica Hines (USA), Kayung Lai (UK), Mateusz Sarello (Poland), Patricia Eichart (Germany), Patricia Van De Camp (Holland), Paul Gaffney (Ireland), Robert Ellis (Ireland), Saba Ferrari (Italy) and Stefania Sapio (Ireland).

The artists were selected for Open Now by jury members Donovan Wylie (photographer, Magnum Photos), Tanya Kiang and Trish Lambe, (curators, Gallery of Photography Ireland) from a total of 270 submissions from 32 nations around the world. About Belfast Photo Factory

Belfast Photo Factory itself is a young photographic collective which aims to provide an environment to help emerging photographic artists to continue and develop their practice. We encourage open, honest peer discussion and through self-generated initiatives are generating funds required to supply our members with the best equipment available to help them complete their work without needing to go outside of Northern Ireland.
